The Jazz Academy of Music, Inc proudly presents The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival (MAJF). The MAJF is a straight-ahead jazz festival that occurs every year over President’s Day weekend. We offer 3 days of jazz music on 4 stages running simultaneously. Three of our stages are paid stages, and the open-aired Atrium is a free stage. We also offer masterclasses, live interviews with the performing artist, line and swing dancing, and jam sessions that are free and open to the public.
